Brain Dead x Hysteric Mini

(Thu, Feb 22, 24)

For Nobuhiko Kitamura, irony and bootlegging go hand in hand. The founder of the iconic Japanese brand Hysteric Glamour, Kitamura often cites Andy Warhol as a primary source of inspiration, with whom he shares a similar approach to the parody of mass-produced objects. Since its founding in 1984, Hysteric Glamour has signified affiliation with counterculture, through an unapologetic approach to design that transcends the limits of fashion to become culture.

Through its baby and children's clothing line, Hysteric Mini, the brand’s playful and irreverent design aesthetic is even more evident. In a new collaborative capsule, Brain Dead links up with the iconic kidswear line to release five special pieces that merge the quintessential Brain Dead style with the Japanese brand’s dreamy characters and graphic elements. Spanning kidswear, menswear and womenswear, the collection is designed for all ages, featuring a crochet cardigan zip, a PVC tote bag, a baseball raglan long sleeve, a ribbed T-shirt, and a tulip hat.
